The phrase “Life is a gift” came to my mind as I painted this piece. It struck my imagination and I started to imagine inanimate bodies lying down on the floor suddenly given life, like a gift.
Then I thought : What if we have been given bodies instead ?
What if we have been given bodies to act out our deepest desires and face our darkest challenges, to go from ecstatic highs to lowest losses and experience all the in-betweens ?
Just, to act out life, to let the current of life move through our bodies.
Life then doesn’t become this Gift that one has to live up to. Our bodies become the gift through which Life can express itself. In other words Life doesn’t happen to us anymore, but happens through us.
So, are you ready to make Life happen ?

Born from a silent gaze, Reflections was first captured as a mental photograph. In this moment of introspection two worlds met, like two sides of a same coin, and opposites began to interact.
This piece explores the duality of our inner landscapes, where light meets shadow and clarity meets mystery.

You are not the Sun, you cannot always be blooming. Yet, what is continuously growing is the light within.
The Sun, the Moon and You.
Who is You ?
You is neither the sun, nor the Moon. You is somewhere in between. Dancing from one end to the other of the spectrum, expressing itself through different aspects. Some are light and bright like the sun (aspecto solar) and some are darker or hidden under the moonlight (aspecto lunar). Both are essential, building contrast, depth and balance in its being.
This ongoing quest aims to collect insights around this theme, expressed through intuitive art, shapes and colors. A metaphor to embrace one’s unique place and perspective as an inherent part of the cosmos.
