This mould-made paper has a distinct, stone-like texture that gives the blacks real depth and the light a natural, organic feel. It is built to last a lifetime without losing its density and embodies the image.

  • The phrase "Life is a gift" came to my mind as I painted this piece. It struck my imagination and I started to imagine inanimate bodies lying on the floor suddenly given life, like a gift.

    Then I thought: What if we have been given bodies instead? To act out our deepest desires and let the current of life move through our bodies. Life then doesn’t become this "Gift" that one has to live up to. Our bodies become the gift through which Life can express itself.

    This premium Giclée edition is a faithful archival reproduction of the original artwork captured from the physical medium of acrylic paint and soft pastel on 300g/m² cold-pressed paper.

    • Each Giclée print is handled with protective gloves, wrapped in acid-free tissue paper, and safely dispatched in a reinforced & sealed kraft tube, or flat-packed in heavy-duty packaging.
